Tribal Council #9
Merged Memphis Tribe
Sandros: Welcome final 8 to the first Tribal Council after the merge. 8 players remain here in Egypt, one will be leaving very shortly. As always we’ll start Tribal Council off with a few questions. Kyle, has there been a lot of strategy talk around camp now that the tribes have merged? Do you think you stand in a good position right now? How do you think vote will play out?
Kyle: Since we merged the camp has gone absolutely crazy. But, it's a good crazy. People are socializing, discussing strategies, and it's all a part of the game - no different than when we were on separate tribes. However, most of us have noticed one certain individual to be a very strong player as of late, and that DOES tie into strategy-talk a LOT! I'm not sure if anyone stands in a good position other than the winners of the Immunity - you never know what anyone is thinking and for all I know I could be everyone's first target.
Sandros: Morgan, you were the first person out of the challenge, how did that make you feel? Are you feeling vulnerable tonight? How has the game changed since merge?
Morgan: Yes I am, being first out made me realize I am either not well liked or considered to be much of a threat, this sucks since I thought I was doing a great job in this game haha, I have to step it up now! It has only changed in one way. There are more communication lines opened the rest is the same.
Sandros: Andrew, you came close at Immunity…was it a hard loss? What did you think about the Immunity challenge split? Feeling vulnerable tonight?
Andrew: Well it definitely was a close one. I nearly had it, but in the end, Ektor wanted it more. Hopefully I don't get voted out because of this loss. The Immunity Challenge Split was a cool idea. Little twists like this keep the game fun and unpredictable, which I like. Of course I always feel vulnerable! This is Survivor, you don't ever know for sure how the vote will go. From what I'm hearing, I should be safe, but you never know with this game. I just have to hope I get to stay another 3 days.
Sandros: Clayton, what do you think of the final 8 castaways? Has anyone given you reason to vote them off? Who do you view as most threatening?
Clayton: I think the final 8 people are totally deserving people, if we didn't derserve it we wouldn't be here, I do think some people are more deserving than others though. At this point in the game, no one has directly done anything to me to give me an outright reason to vote them off. I think Morgan is a tough competitor, and of course the winners of the last challenge, Torah and Ektor have proved themselves challenge threats...
Sandros: Ektor, congrats on Immunity. How does it feel to be safe? Anyone here not deserve to make the jury?
Ektor: Well that’s a tough question and i think that no one can judge anyone whatever place you get is the place you deserve that’s what I think all of the remaining players left made it this far I think they all deserve jury but one of them wont so it sucks.
Sandros: Jennifer, did you expect the merge to occur at the final 8? How has life been in the game since then? Has your strategy changed at all?
Jennifer: No, I wish the merge would have occurred earlier, but we all have to deal with these things as they happen. Life in the game is hard because I know I'm fighting for my life this TC. I'm just hoping people are being honest and that the right decision is made tonight.
Sandros: Sean, what do you think about only the final 7 making the jury? Who is mostly standing in your way of winning this game? What are you basing tonights vote on?
Sean: About the final 7 making the jury.. it's one of your twists, that's all I have to say about that. I'm not even going to comment lol. If I want to win this game, every single person is standing in my way. The people who are threatening to me are in my way moreso.. but hopefully they'll get out of the way soon (face) (make sure you include the "" in there because last time in the TC results it never showed up. lol.) I'm basing my vote tonight on what I think is the smartest move for me.. whether I want to cast this vote or not.
Sandros: Lastly Torah, you were actually the first person to win individual Immunity, congrats. How does it feel knowing you're not going anywhere. What are you basing your vote on tonight?
Torah: I know! I was pretty happy about it, even though I strugged a bit haha started hitting Jenn haha sorry love, not cool. But I was happy I came out victorious, It feels nerve racking even with the necklace around you, you still are nerveous for the other people round you. I'm basing my vote on...really? I have no idea perhaps strategy, but then what can get me further in the game? But at this point I am pretty unsure, if I have made the right move or not?
Sandros: Thanks everyone. Once the votes are read the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I’ll read the votes…
First vote…
Second vote…
That’s 2 for Morgan.
Third vote….
Fourth vote…
We stand at 3 votes for Morgan, 1 vote for Jennifer.
Fifth vote….
That’s 4 for Morgan, 1 vote for Jennifer.
Next vote….
The 9th person voted out of iSurv1vor 5.…
Sandros: Morgan, I’m sorry but 5 votes is a majority. THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN!
* Snuff’s Morgan’s Torch *
Sandros: Morgan I want to thank you very much for taking part of iSurv1vor 5. You were definitely a contender, I’m sorry things didn’t work out. If you would please post your finals words in your confessional, reflect on your time spent here in the game. Talk about what you thought about the game as a whole, where you think you went wrong, and who do you think will win it all? Again, thanks for playing chica.
As for the rest of you….Welcome to the final 7 and jury. You can head back to camp and await your next tree mail.
