Well, Conny was voted out...in a totally unforeseen twist. In another totally unforeseen twist, the Pharaohs are now playing the game against the slaves. What do the iSurv1vors think about these crazy new happenings in Egypt?

I was pulling for her...but I thought something like this might happen to her at some point.
I'm interested to see if Sammy can maintain his dominance of the game...He seems to be the biggest power-player at this point, especially being on the "Pharaoh" (please, everybody, spell pharaoh correctly) tribe. So this Pharaoh / Slave concept...It's definitely an interesting one...but I'm wondering why it just wasn't implemented at the start of the game for all this time? I think that would have made it more interesting...cuz how long can this last with already 11 remaining? A merge will no doubt come in the next couple rounds...
Nonetheless, I am intrigued to see what will happen with this new setup.

(What was the unforeseen twist that caused Conny to be voted out?)

The Taweret tribe deadlocked at TC with no past votes, so the Heqets got to vote them off. All but on of them voted for Conny, the stray vote went to Sammy.
And Tom, I totally agree. I think Sammy's really dominating this game. I wonder if the other castaway will realize just how dangerous his strength and politics together can be.

To Tom, about the twist occuring already 5 votes in...
This may be a little spolier, but this setup will last for a while longer. Unlike last season, the jury is going to be tiny this season.

Small jury? These players are going to be quite mad! Hehe!
Conny getting voted off shocked me! I would be like pretty upset if the other tribe voted me off. So unfair.
As for this new Have-Havenots twist, I think it's pretty bogus if you're on the slave tribe. I'm excited to see how it plays out nonetheless.

Yeah it really is very unfair. But then again... what isn't? :-)
I would be so pissed if I got voted off by the other tribe too, I can't even imagine.

Sandros (or anybody that knows), can you post what the tribes originally looked like when the game began with 16? I'm curious to see where potential old attachments now lie...
Oh, and by the way, I CAN'T BELIEVE I mentioned SAMMY and "dominance" and "power-player" all in the same sentence! Something must be horribly wrong here.

Old Giza: Sammy, Jon, Torah
Old Taweret: Morgan, Sean
Old Heqet: Jennifer, Clayton, Kyle
Old Memphis: Ektor, Andrew

IMO the dominant players right now are....Andrew, Morgan, Clayton, Sammy.
Everyone else is gliding by.

Conny and Sammy, both castaways from China, voted out pre-jury...two of the fist seven people voted out. Shocking.
