My next task as iSurv1vor Live substitute host...interview Robert, the third person voted out of Egypt. Robert was...less conducive to my side conversation than Dakota, to say the least.
Host Richard: Hey, this is Richard filling in as iSurv1vor Live host.
Robert: hey there
Host Richard: Nice to meet you.
Robert: well nice to meet you also
Host Richard: I'm sure you would have like to meet the iSurv1vor Live host much later in the game, though.
Robert: im sure i would have
Host Richard: So tell me...what happened? Why are you out of Egypt?
Robert: Well the challenge was called Pass it to the Loser to the left of you or something like that...pretty much the game of hot potato...so I was in the game, and I got the statue passed to me - but the dude messed up the post and got there tribe auto TC so i told my tribe that if the scroll gets passed to me I cant do anything about it - simply because I wont have any computer acess the rest of that day. Since I had an all day track meet...lone and behold... BAM - I get the scroll and I cant do nothing... Long story short - I got voted out because I have a life.
Host Richard: But why didn't you sit out of the challenge?
Robert: because Torah sat out before I had a chance to say I would...I thought the challenge wouldnt require you to check the boards every few hours which was a downfall for me.
Host Richard: Yeah, that's really unfortunate...but I guess everyone's wondering if there's any strategy that could have kept you in the game. Or did everyone base their votes on challenge strength?
Robert: Stradegy? if you mean skipping my track meet... I guess that
Host Richard: I guess I mean more along the lines of alliances. What was your social game like?
Robert: oh - yeah no. I made no alliances - I figured I had no need for any at the moment. I talked to each tribe member regularly we were good friends you could say.
Host Richard: Harbor any resentment against them?
Robert: I kinda feel mad because they voted me out... But oh well - I came in last place in the first IC - and I lost it for us this challenge. I guess I was the weakest for our tribe
Host Richard: Your tribe (Giza) seemed at least fairly dynamic...tell us a little about your tribemates.
Robert: Torah really was helpful in the first challenge - she seems like she will go far...Sammy seemed nice...im sure sammy will also go far... they seemed really into this game...I didnt talk THAT much to jon i think he will be the next to go but who knows
Host Richard: Yeah, this game always is throwing twists and turns and crazy new strategy at players...speaking of Giza, though, did Sammy's position as a former cast member ever affect the strategy that went on?
Robert: not at all - I treated sammy just as same as I treated everybody else.
Host Richard: Sammy's a pretty good guy...we had a lot of fun conversation in China together.
Robert: ...thats fun
Host Richard: Oh, well, anyway...what players do you think will do well in the game now that's you're out?
Robert: Torah and Sammy... I didnt talk to any other people from seperate tribes
Host Richard: Do you think being on such a small tribe screwed you over?
Robert: Yeah, I think with a bigger tribe I would have done better
Host Richard: Well, Robert, anything else you'd like to say?
Robert: Ehh im cool
Host Richard: That you are...My condolences for being the third person voted out, but good luck in future games and I hope you'll follow along to see how Egypt plays out.
Robert: c ya
